Grief and Transitions

As a preacher’s kid and then pastor in the UMC, I’ve known lots of change. I’ve gotten good at packing boxes, at making sure everything is ready when the mover arrives, of creating lists upon lists upon lists of what goes where and when. So, I’m really good at change. However, if I’m honest, I haven’t always been great at managing transitions.

Legacy Giving: Dunes Music Education Fund

Creating legacy is significant. It allows you to uplift individuals and causes that align with your values and faith. A legacy gift embodies your principles, fosters the relationships you have cultivated, and highlights the impact you have made on the world. Are you curious about how legacy giving can fit into your estate plan?

This program has inspired students to experience the joy of music and worship as well as bringing our whole congregation an opportunity to support the youth of our community. We are so proud to offer this gift on behalf of Christ and Christ’s church.

Learn About Our Courageous Congregations Collaborative (C3)

C3 was a meaningful and eye-opening journey for our team at Orchard. Rather than focusing on tasks or action plans, the process encouraged us to look inward—to reflect deeply and honestly. The facilitators, cohort, and team environment created a space where we could explore all five muscles in a way that felt safe, supportive, and free from pressure or judgment. One of our team members shared after visiting another church while traveling: What we processed together in C3 helped me see that church—and even our own community—through a whole new lens. Rev. Paul Hahm
