To our Ramah mishpacha (family),
As we approach the one-year anniversary of 10/7, we are reminded of the deep impact this day had on our hearts, our community, and the world. These events have challenged us all, and as we continue to process the emotions and lessons that arose that day and each day since, we recognize the importance of creating spaces for healing and learning as a Ramah kehillah (community). Together, we honor the memories of those we have lost, we re-affirm our call for the release of the hostages, we mourn the loss of innocent lives, and we support each other in our ongoing commitment to building a just and compassionate future.
In the spirit of learning and connection, we are sharing some carefully chosen educational resources to support parents in having meaningful conversations at home, and some opportunities for marking this day with the Jewish community. Additionally, we invite you to watch a special video message below from Rav Na'ama Levitz Applbaum, our lead Israel educator, offering her reflections and guidance as we navigate this important moment together.
As we look ahead towards the year 5785 we know that you join us in wishing for shalom in Israel, on college campuses, and around the world.
B'shalom,
The Camp Ramah Team
