The Year of Showing Up


If 2025 had a theme for Kort Builders, it would be showing up. Our crews were out early, late, in the heat, in the cold, and everywhere in between. Our office team kept projects moving, kept clients informed, and kept our culture strong. Every single department played a part in the year we are celebrating. The work speaks for itself, but the teamwork is what we are most proud of.

Here are some of the buzzworthy moments that made 2025 unforgettable. 👇

Vicious Biscuit 🍴 easily claimed the title of Most Talked About Project. From the second we announced it, the buzz never slowed down. On the transformation side, the Grantham Amenity Center took the crown 👑. This space went from ordinary to absolutely show stopping and reminded us why we love what we do.

Our Community Impact Moment of the year came through Brooke's Place, where we were honored to receive the Legacy of Hope Award. 💜 Supporting their mission continues to be one of the most meaningful parts of our work. Speaking of recognition, we closed out 2025 with three major awards. Brooke's Place Legacy of Hope, ABC Excellence for Terra Gaucha, and the IndyCREW Corporate Partner Award. Each one reflects a year full of effort, teamwork, and heart. 🏆🏆🏆

2025 By The Numbers:

This year we doubled down on growing our leaders and celebrating the people who make KBI, well… KBI. Early in the year, our rock-star CFO Rebecca Ogle leveled up with trueU’s Advanced Leader 5 program, and in December our Estimator Extraordinaire Brad Smith wrapped up his LIT (Leader in Training) series like a champ. Both programs strengthened their leadership muscles in big ways and helped fuel the culture we’re building together.
