Reflecting on a Year of Progress Together!

Since welcoming new members to the Motor Safety Association last summer, we have made significant strides in enhancing the services and tools available to support safer workplaces for our members.

Here are just a few of the milestones achieved over the past year:

• Expanded our course library with new online safety training programs:

Forklift Operator Safety

Rigging Safety Essentials

Overhead Crane Safety Essentials

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) Operator Safety

Racking Safety Essentials **Just Released**

• We launched the SkillsPass Learning Management System a high quality online training course platform

• Introduced the Free EHS Analytics Platform to support members in tracking safety metrics, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to enhance safety performance.

• Initiated efforts to expand the Virtual Museum by inviting new members to contribute historical documents from their manufacturing and processing backgrounds.

• Welcomed New Members through mailouts and in-person visits to provide introductions and address inquiries.



• Strengthened sector representation by adding Five New Board Members from manufacturing and fabrication industries to the MSA Board of Directors.

• Collaborated with CraneMasters to secure industry-recognized training video materials and subject matter support for course development.

• Updated Noise Level Testing procedures to align with CSA calibration standards.

• Achieved WorkSafe Saskatchewan - Approved Training Provider Status for OHC Level 1, OHC Level 2, and Supervision and Safety courses.

• Expanded member Networking Opportunities by regularly hosting breakfast meetings with industry guest speakers.

As a non-profit safety association, we introduced these enhanced programs and services without adding any extra costs or fees to access MSA programs and services.
