A Year of Hope Restored: Hands of Love Foundation

Year in Review 2025

As we look back on this past year, we stand in awe of God’s faithfulness and the incredible transformation He has brought to the lives of children, their families, and entire communities through this ministry. Every step forward—every class attended, every Bible lesson shared, every home strengthened — has been made possible through your prayers, generosity, and partnership.

Because of you, doors to education have opened, hope has been restored, and the love of Christ has been made known in tangible, life-changing ways. Together, we celebrate the fruit God has produced in 2025!

EDUCATION & SPONSORSHIP

  • 213 students are receiving an educationan opportunity many would not otherwise have—including children from 173 families now empowered through their child’s schooling.
  • 20 new students were welcomed into sponsorship this year.
  • 14 students graduated from vocational school or university, with 11 more preparing to graduate in January.
  • Students excelled academically at partner schools, including one student who ranked 4th in the entire nation of Uganda in physics who is now enrolled in University.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH & DISCIPLESHIP

  • Regular mentorship and discipleship sessions provided consistent biblical teaching and a nurturing environment for spiritual development.
  • At our 2nd annual summer camp with 205 children, 10 students gave their lives to Christ and 35 were baptized in Lake Victoria.

ESSENTIAL SUPPORT & CARE

  • Every student received new school shoes and socks, after staff identified widespread need during mentorship visits.
  • 213 new mattresses will be distributed as Christmas gifts — fully funded — providing dignity, comfort, and improved sleep for every child in the program.
  • Young mothers in crisis continued to receive the support and hope needed to pursue their education and care for their children.
  • All young women in the program received feminine hygiene products each term, ensuring dignity and uninterrupted school attendance.

FAMILY & COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

  • Family Empowerment project rebuilt an unsafe home for one of our sponsored children, providing stability and security.
  • October’s annual home visit program allowed staff to assess family vulnerabilities and identify opportunities for mentorship, parenting sessions, and further support.

MISSION TEAMS & GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP

  • A mission team of 24 served at summer camp and visited 20 families, praying with them and providing food, while witnessing firsthand the impact of the ministry.
  • A second team of 2 provided Trauma Healing & Training for all staff and 30 community leaders—empowering 36 trained facilitators who will multiply healing resources across their communities.
  • Three mission trips and one sponsorship drive are already planned for 2026.

PARTNER SCHOOLS & PROGRAM STRENGTHENING

  • Each of our three partner schools received significant gifts—two used them to improve water facilities and one for office equipment. One school shared that despite hosting sponsored children from five other organizations, this was the first time they had ever received such support.
  • The Ugandan office continued its work with excellence, transparency, and accountability. The annual financial audit reported no significant issues.
  • The transition of our Ugandan office from a Corporation by Guarantee to an NGO is well underway and expected to be finalized in 2025.

CONTINUING HOPE

  • Through every program and partnership, hope is being renewed in children, families, staff, schools, and entire communities touched by Hands of Love Foundation and Hands of Love Foundation – Children’s Support Christian Foundation.

Looking forward to a new year, we do so with grateful hearts— thankful for what God has done and expectant for what He will continue to do. Your support has been a lifeline of hope, education, and faith for countless children and families.

Thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and investing in lives that God is transforming for His glory. May He richly bless you in the year ahead, and may the seeds planted in 2025 continue to bear fruit for generations to come.

With gratitude,

As we look to 2026 we aim to have even more of an impact all for the Glory of God!

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."

(Matthew 5:14-16)
