Feast of Our Lady of Mercy
On September 24, the Church celebrates the feast of Our Lady of Mercy. On this sacred day of mercy and grace, we turn our hearts to Our Lady, Mother of tender compassion. In Her embrace we find refuge, in her intercession we find hope, and in her love we glimpse the boundless mercy of God. Under her mantle we place our burdens, our joys, our deepest longings.
Our Lady of Mercy stretches wide her mantle, a shelter of compassion where every child of God may find refuge. To call upon her is to remember that God’s love is never distant, and that God’s mercy has a face, a Mother’s face. Mary’s mercy is not passive but active, reaching into prisons and hearts alike, breaking chains seen and unseen.
Our Lady of Mercy teaches us that mercy is stronger than judgment, and that no life is too broken to be gathered into God's embrace. She is the mother who enters our struggles and stands beside us whispering courage when all feels lost. Under her mantle sorrow is met with solace and despair is transformed into hope.
The Church honors Mary as the patroness of captives. and of all who long for freedom in Christ. Her mantle is stretched across the centuries, calling us, even now, to trust in the mercy of God and to become vessels of that mercy for others. (sanctified_souls.net)

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

September 27, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM is Oktoberfest - only one week away! We have three other churches arriving to join us.
There will be beer and brats, potato salads and many other sides, polka music, beer steins to be won by name drawings, and a silent auction
Also, don't forget to bring your church name tags and your beer steins. The program for Habitat for Humanity begins promptly at 6:30 PM. Chad Bauer will tell us of all the happenings at Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity.
That will be followed with the beer and brats, the silent auction, and drawings for a free beer stein! Let's make this a successful event! RSVP AND SIGNUP TO HELP OUT! Thanks and EIN PROSIT!
