Reflections with Fr. Mark
Jesus heals a leper in the scriptures today.  Leprosy was a horrible (is a horrible) disease that we do not normally see in our society today. However, in Jesus’ time, having the disease made you an outcast and an object of scorn and revulsion.

Every time and age have its “lepers” and our challenge as Christians has always been to learn how to accept those who are “unacceptable” and “unlovable.” Our Christian journey should move us from our place of comfort to a place of comforting those who are “least among us.”

Spiritual Reflection: “Be made clean.”

Blessings,

Fr. Mark
