Dear Parishioners,
Our Psalm today vividly uses the words, “May your compassion quickly come to us, for we are brought very low.” Having made our way through four months of the COVID pandemic we truly want to feel the compassionate presence of our God. Our world is hurting, and death has been in our midst.
We have been consumed by fear and anxious moments making our way through the often-confusing messages from conflicting authorities. What is clear, however, is that God’s compassion for His people is eternal.
Today, be a compassionate presence to someone who is hurting.
Blessings,
Fr. Mark
