Today we celebrate the Memorial of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Virgin and Doctor of the Church. We are familiar with her “little way” of small sacrifices done with great love that has inspired millions around the world. She came from a family of faith where she was the youngest. Like her older sisters, she would eventually enter religious life in the Carmelite convent at Lisieux. Therese would devote her life to intercessory prayer and the love of Christ through her fellow nuns.
Therese shows us how to live a life of conviction by simply carrying out our daily tasks with a loving spirit. In our scriptures today, we read of Job who was broken: but faithful. In all that we do in these times may even the smallest act or job be done with love in our heart.
The journey continues…
