All of humanity is wounded. We see it all around us: broken marriages, strained relations, waring countries, assaults on innocence, etc. We will never, on our own accord, be able to bring wholeness and health to the brokenness of our own lives or that of others.
However, the radical love of Jesus Christ will strengthen us to be able to penetrate our hardened hearts with the piercing sword of love wielded by the Spirit. Love CAN change us and in love we can change the world.
As we continue our Lenten journey, may we come to know the love of Christ more profoundly and allow that love to transform us as we sit in the presence of God.
