DARTE + Human Service Agency CalWORKs + SJDC CalWORKs + CTE Workforce Partnership: A Holistic Model for Adult Learner Success

Contributing Consortia: San Joaquin Adult Education Consortium

Adult learners in the Central Valley face challenges like balancing education with family, navigating career pathways, and accessing support services. To address this, the San Joaquin Delta College DARTE Learning Community created a multi-agency program that connects adult education to college and workforce opportunities. With services like career navigation, academic counseling, and industry-aligned training, the program is designed to support underserved communities, including CalWORKs recipients and English learners. Read the full story to learn how this initiative is transforming lives.
