Refreshed State Fund Payment Portal and

New Processing Vendor Brings a Smoother Experience for Your Clients

Dear Agent,

On October 16, State Fund will make changes to their billing portal that will make it easier for your clients to find what they need when paying premiums, reporting payroll, and checking on the status of their policy.

With this change, they’ll also begin working with a new vendor, One Inc, to process payments. The switch to One Inc will affect policyholders who use State Fund’s automatic payment service and/or a credit or debit card for payments.

To enable the switch to the new vendor, they will remove affected policyholders from automatic payments on Saturday, October 14. To resume automatic payments, policyholders must re-enroll once our system changes take effect on October 16. Detailed instructions for enrolling in AutoPay are available here.

Once these changes are complete, policyholders can continue to pay by eCheck for no charge, but those who pay by credit or debit card will be assessed a processing fee of 2.99% of their total payment. (Please note: this fee applies only to payments made with credit and/or debit cards such as American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover Card.)

State Fund previously absorbed fees for accepting credit/debit card payments as a service to policyholders. But as a not-for-profit organization, they must keep operating costs as low as possible, and have determined that it’s in the best interest of all their policyholders that they no longer absorb the fees charged by credit/debit card companies.

State Fund has communicated this information to their policyholders. They are also discouraging new enrollments to their automatic payment service until the system change takes effect. We ask that you help deliver this message to any of your clients who may be considering State Fund’s automatic payment enrollment at this time.
