2022 IC Family Fun Festival

Get excited for a big weekend of FUN! Regina will host the 2022 Iowa City Family Fun Festival on August 19 & 20 in the back parking lot area of the school. There will be live music and entertainment, games & competitions, tasty food, a beverage tent, kids activities, BINGO and so much more!

Event registrations are now open for the fun and friendly competitions and events such as Adult Dodgeball, 3V3 Youth Soccer, Football Run/Punt/Pass, Home Run Derby, Bags and new this year Adult Grass Volleyball, and Euchre!! We also need a lot of volunteers to help make the weekend a success!  Please click HERE to consider taking a shift or two to help out in any of the many areas looking for volunteers! The KidZone has shifts available both Friday and Saturday that jr/sr high students can earn silver cord hours for  when they help with set up, tear down, running games and/or assisting with crafts. • Your ticket is valid for the 18 weeks of the regular NFL season.
• Each ticket has 3 random teams selected for each of the 18 weeks of the season. These teams scores are added together to determine the winners for the week.

We are kicking off the Regina Family Fun Festival with the Regina VIP Golf Classic on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Pleasant Valley Golf Course - 4390 Sand Rd SE, Iowa City.

Shotgun start at 10:00 AM with lunch delivered to golfers on the course. This event promises to be filled with great golf, activities throughout the course and prizes for top performances!

Home & School - Take Pride In Our School Day

Mark your calendars! Take Pride in Our School Day will take place the morning of August 13th from 8:00 am - Noon (unless the work gets finished sooner). This is a fun way to see friends after the long summer break, meet new friends and families and get the Regina playground all ready to go for the new school year. Donuts and water provided to all volunteers!

PISA

Regina PISA (Parents in Support of the Arts )next  meeting will be held Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 6:00 PM in the Regina Elementary library. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. PISA supports K-12 arts at Regina and will be planning a variety of fundraising events.

Booster Club - Updates

On Friday Sept 23, 2022, the legendary Coach John DeMarco will be posthumously enshrined to the Regina Athletic Hall of Fame prior to the kick-off of the Regina vs Wilton varsity football game. All current students and families, alumni, and former players are encouraged to attend this special Homecoming event.

We would like to have LOTS of Coach D shirts in the stands so we have opened up the Coach D store so people can purchase more items. Deadline to order is August 31st. Click HERE to order.

Regina Jr/Sr High Photo Day

Halverson Photography will be onsite Monday, August 22, during Regina Jr/Sr High's Prep day to take school photos between 8 AM - 3 PM.

Students will get their photo taken during their specific time for Prep Day. Please be sure to wear appropriate school photo attire on this day.

Elementary Photo Day (and Jr/Sr High re-takes) is scheduled for September 23rd.

Regina Jr/Sr High Activities Registration

Activity registration is now live through Bound, an online registration system being used by Regina Jr/Sr High. Please click HERE to register your student. Be sure to enter all emails and phone numbers correctly as well as download the Bound app on your phone. This is how coaches/directors will communicate with you and your student. 

You will need to upload a copy of your athlete's up to date physical. Students who have not had a physical in the past year, will need schedule one with their provider as soon as possible. Students without a current physical on file will not be permitted to participate without one. A copy of the physical form can be found in the app or you can download it HERE.

Fall Activities Meeting on Wednesday, August 10, at 6:00 PM in the high school gym. This meeting should last about 1 hour and includes parents, students, and coaches/directors.
