Regina Families,

What a wonderful and successful Gala Event last Saturday! Whether you attended in person or supported online, we are grateful for your support. The planning and execution of the evening is attributed to our phenomenal Special Events Coordinator, Jen Hoeger who shares her words of gratitude with you here:

"Thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated to, attended and supported the 2024 Regina Gala! Through this event we were able to raise $177,000! The Gala Committee is grateful for the generosity of the Regina community. We are proud to support Regina teachers and staff as funds raised this year go towards teacher and staff compensation."

Countless hours were put in by the volunteers on the committee and countless talents and resources were shared by Regina parents. This was yet another example of the powerful impact of the Regina community. As we move into a more reflective and prayerful time during Lent, I am confident we will continue to support each other. May your celebrations continue through Mardi Gras and we will begin to fast, sacrifice and pray as we begin our 40 days of Lent. The tradition of Regina’s Lenten Fish Fry begins next Friday and I look forward to seeing many of you there!

In Christ,

Regina Parent/Family/Alumni/Staff Ensemble at the Spring Pops Concert

We're looking for musicians to take part in the first ever (and hopefully annual) Regina Family & Friends Ensemble at the Spring Pops Concert Showcase produced by Regina Parents in Support of the Arts (PISA).

If you play an instrument or sing, and you are a Regina staff member, parent/extended family of a Regina student, Regina alumni, or Regina Partner Parish staff member, we'd love to have you make music with us!

The Pops Concert will be held on the evening of Saturday, April 20 in the Regina High School Gym. In addition to a variety of entertainment provided by Regina High School music students, we plan to showcase the amazing musical talents of our Regina adult community.

The Pops Concert is a fundraising event that supports all K-12 arts programs at Regina and we believe this Ensemble Group performance will help to draw a larger audience at this event! Band teacher, Mrs. Megan Glass will select music and set rehearsal dates based on the feedback from this survey. Click HERE to complete the survey form by February 23, 2024, to indicate your instrument/voice preferences and potential rehearsal availability. Before spring break, participants will be emailed with music selections and rehearsal times for the month of April.

REGINA EARLY

CHILDHOOD CENTER

NEW

The Early Childhood Center wishes you a sweet and joyous start to February! During the month of February our creative curriculum will be focused on Health. Each week classrooms will be looking at health through different scopes.

During this week we learned how exercise relates to our health. We practiced different types of exercise, and gained knowledge about places we can go to exercise. Specific to the ECC we have lots of fun when we go to exercise and move our body in the Large Motor Room! Lastly, we gained an understanding of how beneficial it is to move our bodies in preschool and keep our bodies moving when we grow older.

Valentine’s Day celebrations will be approaching next week! If your student would like to share Valentine treats with their classmates we kindly encourage them to sign each one without specifying individual recipients. If possible we would also appreciate treats that are tree nut free or made in a tree nut free facility, thank you for assisting us in this accommodation. In regards to a safe place to keep all those treats, we have been working on decorating Valentine bags with our teachers.

We kindly ask that you keep sending in snow gear for your student to have at school. Although the snow may be gone and the sun has started to shine, our playground and nature center are still quite wet and muddy. Thank you!

If you have any upcoming appointments or absences to share about your student, you can send your classroom teacher a reminder via our Procare App. You can also reach out to Assistant Director [email protected] for any questions related to Procare.
