In the high school today we congratulate the following students for taking on new leadership responsibilities in service to our school.

For preschool and elementary students and parents, next Thursday September 15th is Back to School Night, which offers a great opportunity to meet your children's teachers and check-in on their progress face-to-face.

We welcomed our preschool learners this week at Regina. We were so glad to see all the new faces and also our returning students. We are very excited to see all the learning and friendships that will happen this year for our lambs, lions, and doves!

REGINA ELEMENTARY

Classroom Buddies

Students from Mrs. Rhomberg's 3rd grade classroom visited their Kindergarten buddies in Mrs. McGrane's class. They spent time doing some activities that helped them get to know each other.  Classroom buddies from all elementary grade levels will continue to meet up throughout the year and spend time together playing games, reading with each other and doing other fun activities.

Elementary Back To School Night We look forward to greeting our Pre-K - 6th grade families on Thursday, September 15th for our Back to School Night.

Home & School will sponsor treats in the front circle at Back to School Night. There will be allergy friendly treats available. Please follow the schedule to allow for everyone to have enough time to visit classrooms and get a treat. Home & School is still in need of volunteers to help with handing out the treats. There are two short shifts that gives everyone enough time to help and see classrooms! Please sign up HERE if you are available to help out!

Girls Night of Fun & Faith for JH & HS

Junior high and high school girls from any of the Iowa City area parishes are invited for a special evening of fun and faith-building at St Patrick's, on Saturday, September 24th,  from 8:00 - 10:00 pm. There's no cost, but RSVP is needed by Saturday, Sep. 17 for planning purposes.

Moms (and/or older sisters) of girls attending are invited to come as well! You’ll begin by working with the other “special guests” on a few surprise things for the girls and later join the full group for dessert in the Social Hall and prayer in the Sacred Heart Chapel to close out the evening. They will welcome sharing of "God moments" from your own life during dessert time if you’re comfortable sharing (very informally, just talking around the table).

Please email [email protected] for more information and/or to RSVP for this fun event.
