REGAL WEEKLY
October 20th - October 24th

Building Community the Regal Way
When I first arrived at Regina two years ago, a parent stopped me at a home game and asked if I felt welcomed. It was such a simple question, and I loved seeing that it mattered to the community I was joining. Imagine if checking in on new families is your priority at tonight’s football game or next month’s parent-teacher conferences.
This year, more than 70 families and 13 teachers are experiencing their first year at Regina. I hope each of you has felt welcomed and a true sense of belonging in the first two months of the year.
The strength of our community shines when those who have been here for generations welcome new families. Reach beyond familiar faces. Introduce yourself to a new teacher. Extend the welcome that makes Regina feel like home. That is what it means to live the Regal Way.
Need help connecting? The School Directory is now available in PowerSchool.
REMINDER: Monday, October 20th is a no school day!

Snack Donation
At Regina, we know that hungry students can’t learn their best. To help, we’re creating a supply of healthy, non-perishable snacks for students who need a boost before school, during lunch, or after the day ends.
We invite you to support this effort by signing up to donate from the list here. All items should be individually packaged, student-friendly, and non-perishable. Your generosity will ensure that every student has access to the nutrition they need to stay focused, energized, and ready to succeed. Snacks can be delivered to student services.
Thank you for considering this optional invitation!

We have been learning so much about all things fall in preschool.
In the Nature Center this week we explored pumpkins in more depth and discovered that they come in all sorts of colors like white, green, black, orange, and more. Each pumpkin in our little patch was unique. Some were perfectly round, some were flat, and others had funny shapes and warts. We had to have a little fun with the pumpkins after learning all about them. We found some without stems and decided to roll them down the hill to see which shapes and sizes would go the fastest. It was so fun to watch them tumble, spin, and race each other to the bottom, but even more fun to see the kiddos’ reactions! Fall is such an exciting time, and we’re enjoying all the fun activities that come with it.
