Regina Community,
This month, we celebrate our volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Month. We are called to serve: in our parishes, in our schools, and in our communities. At Regina, we are especially grateful for the ways our families give of their time and talents in the many ways they serve.
We also have incredible models of what it looks like to serve with joy! We saw that in Pope Francis. We see it in our own pastors. We see it in the smiles of our Regina families (don’t miss the video below).
As I write this week from Florida, where I am attending a National Catholic Educational Convention along with a small team from Regina, we have reflected on our mission to serve. In our Catholic schools, we recognize that everything begins with relationship, especially our relationship with God. That relationship helps us understand who we are and when we are grounded in that relationship and understanding, we choose to live it out in service.
Thank you to all who serve as volunteers. We love to connect with families in this way.
As we look toward the end of the year, we are grateful for all the ways you have supported our community. Stay tuned as we will share more opportunities to get involved next fall!
