Regal Rewards

The Regal Rewards office will be closed the week of April 5th for the year end bookkeeping. But it's not the end of ordering for the year! Any orders placed on or after April 12th will be credited to the 2021-22 school year.

Baseball Softball Equipment Donations
Eliezer De Los Santos (12th grade) is gathering donations to help support youth programs in his home country of the Dominican Republic. He is collecting new or lightly used running shoes, cleats, baseball/softball gloves, baseballs, and softballs. Donations can be brought to the Athletic Training Facility. Thank you for your support of Eli's efforts.
Financial Aid Applications Being Accepted Now (Deadline Extended to May 15)

Families interested in applying for financial aid for the 2021-22 school year need to fill out the STO Financial Aid Form. Click HERE to access this form on the Regina website.

Deadline to turn in this form and a copy of your 2020 '1040' federal tax return has been extended and will now need to be returned to the business office of Regina Catholic Education Center by May 15, 2020, with no exceptions. Please remember to get these forms completed and turned into the business office by the deadline date.

On behalf of our charitable benefactors, the Regina Foundation annually awards scholarships for K-12 Regina tuition assistance and college-bound graduating Regina seniors. Students and their families may view criteria and apply for school-year 2021-2022 scholarships online at  Applicants will be considered for any scholarship for which they qualify, so you do not need to apply for a specific scholarship. All scholarship applications are due no later than 3:00 pm on April 15 and MUST be completed/submitted online. Scholarships will be awarded in May. All scholarships are NOT based on financial need, but families are encouraged to complete Regina’s financial aid application by April 15 (available on Regina’s website, —under Admission) to be eligible for need-based scholarships.

Nominate a Regina Teacher, Coach, Staff Member
Nominate a Regina teacher, coach, or staff member who goes “above and beyond” for the Kingery Character Endowment Award. The recipient will receive $250 to be used in his/her classroom or program at Regina. Click HERE to complete an online nomination form or visit (under Scholarships) by April 30.

Ask your preschooler about the books we are reading and crafts/projects they are participating in that have to do with celebrating Easter!
Dress Code Clothing
Please remember all students are required to be in dress code during the entire school day. While the weather is cold, please ensure students have a dress code approved sweater, sweatshirt, or long sleeve shirt. Students out of dress code will be asked to go to the office to change. Thank you for ensuring our student’s follow the Regina Catholic Education Center dress code policy.

Build Iowa Career Fair For Juniors and Seniors:
The Build Iowa Career Fair will be held on April 1st in Cedar Rapids from 10 AM - 1 PM. Juniors and Seniors are invited to sign up for this field trip.
The deadline to sign up is March 12th. Email or See Mrs. Zoulek to sign up.

The Build Iowa Initiative was created to connect Master Builders of Iowa members with their local school districts to promote the rewarding and high-paying careers that commercial construction can offer. Master Builders of Iowa (MBI) believe these events will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your students to connect with future employers and explore what a career in the commercial building industry would look like. The event is expected to attract 20-25 commercial building companies. These companies will be from multiple disciplines, including general contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers. 
Young Women in Grades 9-12:
Registration is now open for the 2021 Young Women in Leadership Conference at the University of Northern Iowa on Wednesday, April 14th. This annual event, hosted by the University of Northern Iowa Women in Business, is open to all high school students and is geared toward developing women leaders. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of speakers focused on topics relating to leadership, personal, and professional development. 

Registration fees will be $15 per attendee, which will include a boxed lunch, t-shirt, and - of course - training!

Workplace Learning Connections
Workplace Learning Connections is now accepting Fall 2021 internship applications from current Sophomore and Juniors. The deadline is Friday, April 16th at 3PM (no late applications will be accepted). We encourage students to apply early and follow along on their dashboard. Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award
The Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Award is a $10,000 scholarship program for Iowa high school juniors. The program annually identifies and honors up to 15 Iowa high school juniors who propose and then accomplish a project of their own choosing and design. Grades, test scores, essays and financial need are not evaluated. Each of the 15 finalists will receive a $1,500 cash award at the completion of the program. Four of those could earn an additional $10,000 scholarship each, for a total of $11,500! Go to for more information.
