HOA Board Approves Construction of $60,000 Storage Building Next to Regency Place Community Pool
Board members unanimously approved to
proceed with the construction of a 24X20 ft. building next to the community pool to serve as a storage building to house HOA records, holiday decorations, and other HOA items that are presently being housed in various members' homes.
Board president Burt Johnson said 4 bids ranging from $59,300 to upward of $95,000 were received from various contractors. The board selected Beasley & Travis Construction, Inc., as the winning bid. Johnson said the company indicated the completion of the building may take 180 days (6 months).
The board indicated that Beasley & Travis submitted the lowest bid at $59,300 but did not provide additional details why this company was chosen.
Several residents in attendance requested a copy of the building plan to be made available to the community.
