The Regent Reporter is now our weekly/bi-weekly family newsletter! Instead of sending a weekly Family Update and a monthly Regent Reporter, we will be sending the Regent Reporter weekly or bi-weekly as needed.

It’s like trying to eat an elephant. You have to take thousands of small bites but it can, in fact, be done. This year, we’ll continue to focus on being an intentionally antiracist school. We’ll be meeting in grade level teams to look at student literacy and math data to drive how we can increase both student supports and rigor in our classes. We support the district’s comprehensive literacy plan and over one third of our teaching staff will be trained in LETRS and the science of reading instruction starting this fall. We’re continuing to look at our curriculum to ensure antiracist texts, images and assumptions, and we’ll continue to seek student feedback both at the classroom and school-wide level to guide our work.
