Little Free Library
We would like to install a Little Free Library outside of West High School and would love your help! There are two opportunities: 1) helping to purchase the Little Free Library kiosk, and 2) monitoring it regularly--ideally this would be a group that could take "perpetual responsibility". We have chosen an upcycled newspaper box that is durable and blue--and we will add a Reggie logo on the back! We will want to regularly monitor it for physical damage, trash, inappropriate (mature adult) donations, or accidental library returns that need to be brought inside the school. If your group would like to donate your time or treasure to this idea, we’d love your help! Please contact Beth Hennes at bmhennes@madison.k12.wi.us if you are interested.
Senior Graduation Packets
Graduation Packets will be available in SLC offices beginning Monday, Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. These packets contain information from Midwest Scholastic with a catalog and order form for graduation caps, gowns, tassels and other Class of 2022 apparel including class rings. Online orders are preferred and can be made at https://www.mwscholastic.com/2022-west-store. If a paper order form is preferred, Midwest Scholastic staff will be available to collect orders forms and payments and answer any questions regarding orders during lunch in the cafeteria on Wednesday, December 15th. Orders will be available for pick-up late in late April/early May. Payments must be made directly to Midwest Scholastic, West High School will NOT accept payments. Green Highland Immersion!

Living side by side with local people in a meaningful community of Tilaran is traditional family and community life.

Our programs instill confidence, maturity, and passion for cultures and ideas that are new to students—benefits that extend far beyond summer. These experiences often serve as springboards for students to develop lifelong interests.

Nelson Mandela said, "If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.”
