Despite the challenges of a virtual school year, team members were able to utilize online meetings for the planning, research and development of their projects, apply individualized and compartmentalized construction methods resulting in successful vehicle integration and finish, and access socially distanced launch opportunities thanks to the support of all the families willing to provide personal transportation. Overcoming every obstacle and limitation, both teams achieved successful flights of their high powered vehicles with scientific payloads.
The Rockets for Schools competition compiles a cumulative score for each team based on the results of their team written test, vehicle inspection, mission patch, project presentation and poster display. Congratulations to Team MAC and Team TIAR for earning 1st and 2nd place.
