The PATH Intl. 2019 AQHA Regional Show
The AQHA Regional Show is to be held at Eastern States Expo in July of 2019 and is working on the inclusion of EWD (Equestrians with Disabilities). EWD classes include both supported and independent divisions. The classes are HUS, Equitation (pattern) Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and Trail (pattern classes). You do not need to own a QH to enter. All classes are Walk/Trot or Walk/Jog. Elizabeth Craig Smith would like to know if folks in New England are interested and would they have participants to compete. She herself is a competitor in EWD nationally and is quite excited by this prospect. Please contact Elizabeth at elizard318@gmail.com if you would like more information or would be interested in participating.
NESAR
Many members of Region 1 are not aware that there is a nonprofit organization, New England Special Activities Resources (NESAR), which was established to provide scholarships to Region 1 members. The scholarship program focuses on individuals who might not be able to attend educational programs and certifications without financial support.
