Results

The USATF Oregon Association hosted the Region 13 Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship meet at the Ash Creek Preserve on the campus of Western Oregon University, Monmouth, OR, on November 22.

There were 831 youth athletes registered for the meet. Girls and boys in six different age divisions competed over 2,000, 3,000, 4,000, and 5,000 meter courses.

The top 30 individuals and the top 5 teams in each event of each age division will advance to the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships to be held on December 13 at the Blue River Cross Country Course, Shelbyville, IN. Congratulations to the Region 13 athletes who earned the right to compete at the National JO Championship!

USATF Youth Athletic Region 13 includes Oregon, Washington, ten Idaho counties, and Alaska. Alaska is assigned to Region 13 for administrative purposes only and may qualify athletes directly to the USATF JO Championship meets due to the state's geographical location.
