Emergent bilingual leaders join us to receive information from TEA regarding Emergent Bilingual support and ESC 19 Technical Assistance. This session will provide a collaborative space to engage in meaningful dialogue, share best practices, and focus on supporting Emergent Bilinguals and related topics.

Staying Safe: School Safety Response Training

The Texas School Safety Center (TxSSC) invites you to register for the Staying Safe: School Safety Response Training, a train-the-trainer program designed to help districts enhance individual response preparedness for students in grades K–12. Based on ALERRT’s CRASE model, this curriculum equips school personnel with tools to effectively teach age-appropriate safety response strategies. Who Should Attend: District and School Administrators, Multidisciplinary Team Members, School-Based Law Enforcement, and Educators. This voluntary training requires prior approval from your district’s School Safety and Security Committee before registration. No documentation is required. Upon completion, participants will be able to deliver the Staying Safe curriculum within their districts and train other staff to do the same.
