The 2017 Region 7 conference was a HUGE success. This year's conference took place at BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding and Educational Center in Poplar Grove, IL. We had more than140 attendees, and there were 29 presentations given over the two and a half day conference. It was an amazing weekend of learning and networking, and a great opportunity for our certified professionals to get their continuing education hours completed!!  A huge thank you to BraveHearts and their amazing staff and volunteers for putting on such a great conference! We hope to see everyone in Omaha, NE, March 16-18, 2018, for another great conference!

Nebraska News
First, we would like to welcome Morning Star Riding Center to PATH as the newest PATH Intl. Member Center in Nebraska! We wish them much success with their new program!

We hope everyone had a great learning experience at the Region 7 Conference hosted by Bravehearts last week and look forward to seeing everyone in Nebraska for the conference next year. HETRA was honored to have three of their staff present this year and is excited to host next year!

HETRA is excited to announce two new renovations to their facility: a new tack room and a new ramp for EQ the Equicizer.

Equicizers are a great tool for TR programs and many programs are able to get grant funding for them! Learn more about what an Equicizer is here.

One Heart Equestrian Therapy received a $1,500 grant from the Sons of Norway Foundation. The grant will be matched by the Kong Sverre Lodge of the Sons of Norway from Story City, Iowa. The Kong Sverre Lodge continues their Fjord legacy with the donation since they donated the first Fjord horses to One Heart. The grant money will go toward One Heart's R.I.D.E. (Reward, Inspire, Develop, Empower) campaign to fund the purchase of permanent facilities.
