Fall Quarterly Newsletter

Hello Region I Colleagues!

I hope you have had a great start to the new school year! I know there is usually new energy that comes from welcoming a new group of students in the fall. There is excitement in knowing that you do more than teach a subject; you pass on a profession. Thank you for what you do and keep the fire throughout the year.

In addition to all the great instructional resources that are offered with your ACTE membership, there is a new feature that I want to make sure you check out! ACTE now has a member benefits site that can help you with a variety of travel and entertainment offers. Once you login to your ACTE Member Account, you should see the welcome tiles. One of the tiles is labeled “Member Deals.”

Once you click the “Member Deals” tile, you will see a list of drop-down menus from which to search and select the offer you are looking for! You can search for theme parks, hotels, rental cars, flights, movie tickets, and other exciting options! Check it out!

Though fall is an exciting time, I know you are going to need to recharge and take some time for yourself during the year. You might as well take advantage of ACTE's Member Deals! I know I am going to!

Sincerely,

Douglas Bush

VP, ACTE Region I

Associate Superintendent for CTE
