Spring Quarterly News Update

Dear ACTE Region II Members,

Spring is here!

We have officially made it to Spring which means all the beautiful plants and flowers are coming back to life and fully displaying their beautiful colors! I hope you are rejuvenated as well as we head down the final stretch of the 2023-24 school year!

The ACTE National Policy Seminar was recently held in Washington, D.C. I hope many of you were able to attend this legislative event which provided meaningful opportunities to advocate for the CTE programs in your district and state! I am happy to say that Region II sponsors a 2024 ACTE National Leadership Fellow who was able to attend the NPS conference. Dr. Carrington Faulk, from Virginia, included a press release that you can review by clicking here. Please take the time to read about his amazing experience on Capitol Hill!

I hope to see you all at the Region II Conference in September in Orlando, and the ACTE CareerTech VISION Conference in December in San Antonio!

Additional information on both opportunities can be found in the information below!

Sincerely,

Beth Parks

ACTE Region II Vice President
