Hey teammates!

The world has landed on our doorstep via the World Cup. The 2026 FIFA World Cup features 48 teams spanning every continent bringing their unique culture, traditions, and love for soccer. While the world is on our doorstep let’s pray for a revolution of heart change among many of those who will participate and that our vision “to see the WORLD transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes” can come into a reality.

This metaphor of a revolution is to describe the coming of the kingdom of God through the work of FCA. By definition, a revolution, is a “radical and pervasive change in society and the social structure.” As I look at the Great Commission given to us by Christ, I see just that kind of revolutionary principle:

I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth! Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to do everything I have told you.”

(Matt. 28:18-20)

The manifesto of this kingdom revolution can be found int the great messianic passage of Isaiah 61, read by Jesus in the synagogue in Nazareth at the very beginning of his public ministry. This event, recounted in Luke 4, was a declaration of Jesus’ identity and mission:

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor, He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

(Isaiah 61:1-2)

We are sending out 5 teams from the SEC this summer to invoke a spiritual revolution.

This revolution will be ignited through proclamation and compassion. Telling the good news that the Messiah has come, sins can be forgiven, and the kingdom of God is now available to all who repent and believe. Pray for a ripe harvest field and our teams.

CAMP HIGHLIGHT

"Greater Louisville FCA’s Middle School Boys Team Basketball Camp. One camper didn’t want to return to camp and said he was sick. His mom sensed something was up because she knew the first day didn’t go as he hoped. She 'made him' come back…and it just so happened that when the gospel message was shared that day, the Lord saved his life!"

E3 CHECK-INS

As we continue walking alongside coaches and athletes, we want to look more deeply into the E3 process. Please use the provided resources to guide your dialogue during check-ins and foster meaningful reflection throughout the journey.

Every person serving in the field is responsible for completing an E3 map each quarter. This will help us gain a more accurate picture of ministry happening across the SEC Region. If you are part-time in any capacity, please begin with the Q3 map. You do not have to do previous maps.

Templates for each quarter are located below. Please use these if you need to correct or submit a map from a previous quarter. The Q4 E3 map will be sent in mid-July. Please use this map during your Q4 Check-in.

*Please use the Discipleship Filter as you reflect on the E3 journey. This tool will become more frequent in the coming months.

Live registration is now open!!!

ESTES PARK, COLORADO // October 18-21

[THE] Huddle: for women is designed to engage, equip, and empower women in faith and sports. This experience at Estes Park Center (YMCA of the Rockies) will give FCA female staff, and women called to lead, space to sharpen ministry skills, fellowship, worship, rest, encounter God, and understand how to utilize [THE] Huddle: for women resources.

Space is limited, so grab your spot. Last year, we had 5 ladies from the SEC at this event. Let's double that this year! There are currently three ladies signed up from the SEC. Directors, please encourage and help your female staff to attend and help them financially if there is any way possible.
