Hey teammates!
FCA ministry begins at home. While we are on mission “to lead EVERY coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus and His Church,” we can’t afford to miss out on ministering in our own home. The scripture supports the idea that prioritizing prayer and ministry within the family is a divinely ordained calling. Just look at Paul’s instruction in 1 Timothy 5:8,
“But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members in his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
While the verse primarily refers to physical provision, it carries an implicit spiritual application. The Old Testament carries weight on this topic as well. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 underscores the role of parents in shaping the faith of their children.
“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

We might add "when you’re playing ball." Teresa and I had the opportunity to do this with our grandson, Easton, this spring as he began Tee-ball. We are more committed than ever to the vision of FCA getting younger and reaching further through league and club sports. We gave each of his teammates the new FCA Young Athletes Bible, and he wants his parents to read it to him all the time. The coach was so excited that he wrote a full page letter inside each Bible.
Home is the most influential platform for ministry. Don’t miss the treasured moments. Minister to your own family while rushing off to a big FCA event or huddle. We’re praying that our grandchildren, Easton and Addie, will meet coach Jesus soon and put their trust and faith in Him as He gives them the game plan for life.
Your Teammate in Christ,
Robert Green

CAMP MINISTRY
DIVING INTO OUR 2026 CAMP SEASON
CHECK OUT SOME CAMP HIGHLIGHTS FROM AROUND THE REGION!
| | |
KENTUCKY:
West Kentucky FCA is hosting their Power Camp June 9-11 at McCracken County High School, Paducah, KY. This Power Camp is designed to engage young athletes with the Gospel, equip them with tools to grow in their faith, & empower them to share Jesus with others. As we continue to “get younger” in FCA, we continue to grow in the number of Power Camps hosted across Kentucky (6 planned this summer). West Kentucky FCA was a front-runner in hosting a local power camp, hosting this camp for nearly 10 years. Dozens of high school huddle leaders and hundreds of campers. All praise to Jesus!

ALABAMA:
FCA Alabama Golf Camp is a time of “inspiration and perspiration” for aspiring young golfers who want to reach their potential through comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training. FCA Golf Camp offers a unique blend of golf instruction, competition, Bible teaching and life application not usually found at a golf camp. June 23rd - 26th, golfers from around the state will gather for an intensive few days of golf training and spiritual training!
“This camp has been so amazing! I learned so much about God and golf. I learned not to center my life around golf but rather to put God first in my life no matter what. This camp has changed my entire perspective on life so I hope I can attend this camp next year!”
Kate Nickles | Oak Mountain HS | Class of 2027

MISSISSIPPI:
Leadership Camp in Mississippi was May 28-31. Traditionally held at Belhaven University, we have moved the longstanding camp to Mississippi College to accommodate for the growth we’ve experienced and expect. Numerically, we’ve already seen the growth: 375+ Campers, 100+ Huddle Leaders and Trainees, and 25+ staff.
This means over 500 people worshiping Christ, growing in His Word, and being empowered to lead on their campuses and in their communities.
| |
TENNESSEE:
Tennessee is excited to announce that we will be adding 3 new statewide camps this year! June 1-3, Brad Perry from our Bristol office will be hosting our first Wrestling Camp to be held at Maryville College in Maryville, TN.
July 31-August 2, our team will be hosting our back-to-school camp called CORE3 for all our campus student leaders and leadership teams held at Camp Carson in Newport, TN.
Lastly, our FCA Outdoor Camp is August 21-23 in Pikeville, TN. We are super excited to see all that God is going to do in and through each of these.
We are praying that these camps will provide an additional 500-700 first time campers. Tennessee has a strong tradition in camp ministry and all of our staff from across the state work really hard to make our statewide camps a success.
