Each year during the Blacks In Government (BIG) Annual National Training Institute (NTI), BIG hosts a celebration to honor and recognize members who have passed since the previous NTI. The 2023 Memorial Wall theme, “Always Loved, Never Forgotten, Forever Missed”, celebrates the tireless work and accomplishments of those honorees who couldn’t sleep at night because they were engaged in activities supporting professional development and giving back to their community. These heroes and sheroes are a testament of what can be done with faith, dedication and THINKING BIG.
The 2023 Memorial Wall Program will take place during our 44th Annual National Training Institute. The program will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 7p.m. until 8p.m. at the Gaylord Resort and Convention Center in the Maryland Ballroom. This year’s theme is “Always Loved, Never Forgotten, Forever Missed”.
In preparation for the recognition of our beloved members who transitioned between August 1, 2022, and July 31, 2023. Please contact your local Chapter President and/or Regional Council President who will guide you through the process.
Regional Council Presidents provide all pertinent information to your Regional Memorial Wall Program point of contact by Monday, July 31, 2023.
