S2 raight ahead!

Hi, Everyone.

A huge weekend completed and a fantastic few days ahead during S2ozzies favorite time of the year!

This past weekend we hosted the Pennsylvania Regional Championships. The 150 plus players enjoyed a great two day event which was masterfully directed by our S2 Head Coach Lyall, who may be almost as good a Tournament Director as he is coach! Shout out also to Sam and Jamie who were ebullient from beginning to end of what was a very busy two days of match coaching our 40+ S2ozzies! We repeat it because we mean it... Thanksgiving is the best S2ozzie day of the year!

Our annual alumni match will run 9:15-11:30 on Thursday morning and you can read a description about the tradition here if you haven't been lucky to attend previously! Additionally, as a special treat on a special day we have a book signing by Scozzie Alum Tyler Burt, which fills us with a lot of pride, and you can click here for the backstory. For our younger players we will have a normal training squad from 8:30-9:30 and a light breakfast provided thereafter for competitors and spectators. Thanksgiving is truly the ideal day to get a real feel of all that we are about and we look forward to sharing some of this special day together!

Some small schedule changes for Thanksgiving week!

Monday and Tuesday - as normal

Wednesday - 11:00-12:30 squad, 12:30-1:30 Open SAS, 5:15-6:30 squad - club closes at 7:00.

Thursday - 8:30-9:30 squad, Alumni Match and book signing 9:15-11:30 and club closes at 12:00

Friday - 11:00-12:30 squad, 12:30-1:30 Open SAS - club closes at 3:00

Saturday and onward will be back to our Winter Schedule!

Finally, a reminder that we are now running the Phase 2 schedule and that lesson slots begin next week. You'll find all the links and information below - and if you have any queries don't hesitate to reply to this email directly!

What a weekend it was!!! S2 hosted the PA Regional Championships, which became the largest state championship in the whole country and required US Squash to expand draws to 24 to accommodate.

Thanksgiving S2ozzie Alumni Match!

S2ozzie has been proudly running one of the biggest and best programs in squash history for nine years. Integral to the program has been our strong sense of community, support and the capacity for our life long sport to act as a bond.

It gets even better and S2 Squash is proud to announce our latest coaching addition, Welshman Dave Haley!

Dave is an accomplished professional player, and no stranger to the United States, working with the renowned Trinity College Squash Program last season. Dave will be on court from the start of Phase 2 and you can reserve your lesson slots with him by emailing us directly.

Digital SAS

We’re delighted to announce the launch of S2 Digital SAS from 4:30-5:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays for all Gold and Platinum Members. Our new launch is tailored behind our new hiring of Dave Haley, who will spearhead the initiative of digital coaching and bio-mechanical analysis breakdown from training and tournaments.

A reminder that lesson slots are made up of 11 lessons over the 13 weeks. Contact any of the coaches if you’d like to check on makeups (11/18-11/29), and to remake lesson times for Phase 2!
