Travel Oregon produces a strategic plan every other year that guides their work with key initiatives and measurements.

They reached out to tourism partners through a stakeholder survey for insights as they pertain to the development and sustainability of the Oregon tourism economy.

Visitor Skill Building Workshop
Network Opportunity December 10th!

This program is open to anyone with an interest in providing high quality personal interaction with visitors, especially guides. It is a helpful skill for retail, hotel, and attraction staff also.

Interpretive skills are those that help a guide or host communicate with visitors in a way that adds meaning and value to the destination and experience.

Through quality interpretive conversations and presentations a guide or speaker can help a visitor to better know and value what you offer and your community.
