I’m excited to share that registration is now open for the Second Annual Saint Ambrose Stride to SAVE Lives 5K presented by SAVE - Suicide Awareness Voices of Education!

Last year’s event was amazing—the weather held out perfectly, and we had a great turnout filled with smiles, laughter, and a wonderful community spirit. Fathers Peter, Sam, Sean, and so many members of the Saint Ambrose community had an unforgettable time, and we can’t wait to do it again!

This year’s 5K is once again FREE, and we’re thrilled to offer FREE T-shirts to the first 250 registrants! Secure your spot today by registering below.

Based on last year’s enthusiasm—especially from our young participants—we’re making this year’s event even better! We’re adding extra refreshment options after the run and focusing on making the 5K an even more memorable experience for all.

As both the CEO of SAVE and a Saint Ambrose parishioner, I am incredibly proud of our partnership on this event. Our mission at SAVE is to prevent suicide and save lives, and you can learn more about our work at save.org.

I also want to share an exciting new initiative that SAVE is part of: KiDS: Keep It Digitally Safe. This global contest is designed to encourage young people—and anyone with a creative spark—to develop warning labels and public service campaigns about the risks of unregulated social media. We’re awarding educational scholarships to three winners:
