September is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month
Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) is a progressive and fatal interstitial lung disease that causes fibrosis in the lungs and is often confused with common diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and congestive heart failure (CHF). 
 
First-line healthcare professionals play an important role in the early recognition and referral of patients with suspected IPF to a pulmonary specialist. Following are resources to help you recognize the signs and symptoms of IPF.
