Learn About Your ID Requirements

Pennsylvania voters who are casting their ballots for the first time must know their ID requirements.


They should only be asked for ID the first time that they vote in their precinct. All mail-in or absentee voters must provide an ID number or copy of an accepted ID.

Although public Wi-Fi is convenient, make sure your information is safe. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), most websites are encrypted which means your information is scrambled into a code so others can't get it.

• If the web address starts with “https," your information is encrypted before it's sent. Look for the “https” on every web page.


•. Never share financial information like account, credit card, or Social Security numbers over public Wi-Fi.

Pennsylvania has guaranteed all high school students in the 2026 -2027 school year will have to have a ½ credit course in personal finance before graduating.


Teachers – Cents and Sensibility can help educate your students!


The Guide can be used to introduce financial wellness concepts. It is a valuable classroom resource for Pennsylvania educators teaching personal finance to students with disabilities. The content is appropriate for Grades 9 through 12 and older adults who want to develop a plan for their financial future.
