We are thrilled to announce our schedule for the Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) 18-hour virtual workshops for the year 2024!

Designed to empower individuals with tools for self-advocacy and holistic wellness, these workshops offer a transformative experience to support your mental health and well-being.

Each workshop spans across four days, providing comprehensive guidance on developing personalized wellness strategies and crisis planning. Led by experienced facilitators, these sessions create a supportive environment for learning and growth.


Seminar I: Developing a Wellness Recovery Action Plan®

This workshop is co-facilitated by WRAP® Facilitators in an eighteen (18) hour format. Participants in this workshops will learn how to develop their WRAP® as a personalized system to achieve their own wellness goals. It is for anyone who wants to learn about WRAP® and begin to incorporate it into their life to improve personal wellness and achieve an improved quality of life. The course is designed to be highly interactive and encourage participation and sharing from all present.  


Learning Objectives

Following successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Apply the Five Key Concepts of Recovery to their everyday life to improve their quality of life.

• Identify tools and action plans to counter the negative effects of life challenges and improve responses to disturbing thoughts and feelings to achieve improved states of wellness.

• Describe the history, foundations and structure of the Wellness Recovery Action Plan®.


What is WRAP?

The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP®) is a personalized wellness and recovery system born out of and rooted in the principle of self-determination.

WRAP® is a wellness and recovery approach that helps people to:

1) decrease and prevent intrusive or troubling feelings and behaviors;

2) increase personal empowerment;

3) improve quality of life; and

4) achieve their own life goals and dreams.

Working with a WRAP® can help individuals to monitor uncomfortable and distressing feelings and behaviors and, through planned responses, reduce, modify, or eliminate those feelings. A WRAP® also includes plans for responses from others when an individual cannot make decisions, take care of themselves, and/or keep themselves safe.



Completing this workshop satisfies for Certified Recovery Support Practitioner (CRSP) credential WRAP training requirement.
