Call for Proposals

We invite you to submit a proposal for the California Adult Education Program (CAEP) Summit 2026.

This year’s theme, “Advancing Adult Learners: Access, Opportunity, and Success”, reflects our collective commitment to the adult education community during a transformative era. We recognize the immense dedication required to support California learners while navigating the complexities of legislation and an evolving institutional landscape. Despite these challenges, the work done to support our learners ensures that vital services, resources, and education remain within reach for those who need them most.

The CAEP Summit is where innovation meets influence. It’s where practitioners and leaders come together to surface bold ideas, elevate breakthrough practices, and drive lasting change across the adult education system.

By nominating a Model Program, you have the invaluable opportunity to highlight innovative and emerging practices within the field of adult education. Imagine your Model Program set in the spotlight, receiving accolades for its inspiring best practices. The top 20 model programs will be highlighted at the CAEP Summit 2026.

This is your opportunity to share your breakthroughs with fellow practitioners and position your successes on the CAEP website. Celebrate your milestones, fuel the spirit of innovation, and be the beacon for others charting their course in the vibrant world of adult education. Your story isn't just about recognition; it's about setting new standards and redefining excellence within the educational landscape.

Nominations have been extended through May 30, 2026.
