Prepared to Serve

A Foundational Training for Waldorf School Board Members 

What to Expect in Your Role as a Waldorf Board Trustee

In this 6-hour course, board members and school leaders are invited to learn, share, and network. We will cover the core duties of trusteeship, and the social/spiritual foundations and mission of Waldorf education. Course topics include the fundamentals of collaborative governance, board development, fiduciary responsibility, the 3-fold nature of money, building a philanthropic culture, and the board’s role in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion. We will also cover effective meetings, generative dialogue, and strategic planning. You will also receive a comprehensive guidebook as a resource. All courses are offered on Zoom.
