It's time to register for Trivium Agriscience/FFA

for the 2026-27 school year!

The Trivium Agriscience class/FFA program is open to all Trivium Prep high school students.

For our 9th grade students, honors biology meets the education requirement for first-year members. This class is taught during the school day by an Agriculture CTE certified instructor. 9th grade FFA/Agriscience students will occasionally be invited to attend the zero-hour class. Freshman must register by July 19 to be scheduled in the approprate biology class.

Our 10th-12th grade students meet during zero hour (7:05am-7:50am) each school day. This is a credit-bearing class, so a commitment to daily attendance is required. Upperclassmen must register by August 10.

9th Grade Agriscience/FFA- Register by July 19

10th-12th Grade - Register by August 10

What is FFA?

The national FFA organization focuses on preparing members for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. FFA is an intracurricular, CTE student organization for those interested in agriculture and leadership. Students must be enrolled in an agriculture class in order to participate. Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences needed for both college and careers. It combines academic and technical instruction to prepare students for various career paths. There are standards and topics that must be taught, just like any other class, in order to be a complete program.

What does Trivium FFA look like?

  • Honors biology (9th grade) meets the education requirement for first-year members. Any 9th grade student who wishes to be enrolled in FFA must be enrolled in a biology class taught by an Agriculture CTE certified instructor. They will NOT meet regularly during the zero-hour class. However, freshmen members are occasionally invited to attend the zero-hour class where we will dive deeper into the FFA organization.
  • Students in 10th-12th grades will meet in a zero-hour agricultural education course (7:05-7:50am). This is a real, credit-bearing class. Although it happens BEFORE school, students who enroll must attend class just like any other in order to be in good standing and receive credit.
