Colorado Medical Political Action Committee

COMPAC, the nonpartisan political action committee of the Colorado Medical Society, is driven by the collective voice of physicians and medical students. Our mission is to champion and elect pro-physician, pro-patient candidates at the state level. On the federal stage, COMPAC collaborates with AMPAC, the American Medical Association’s Political Action Committee, to advocate for the interests of physicians and their patients in Congress. To make a difference click here.

We received an AAMSE Profile in Excellence Award for our advocacy efforts regarding bill HB24-1058 Protecting the Privacy of Biological Data. NCMS collaborated with the Colorado Medical Society, the NeuroRights Foundation, and local legislators including Representative Cathy Kipp, Representative Matt Soper, Senator Mark Baisley, and Senator Kevin Priola. A special thanks to NCMS President Dr. Sean Pauzauskie for his leadership and gaining national attention on this issue.
