Red Letter Grant (RLG) is open to women throughout ten counties in western Wisconsin who want to start a NEW business. RLG will consider applications from existing women-owned businesses looking to expand, but preference is given to applicants in the start-up phase. RLG considers the start-up phase to be three years old or younger. If you have already received a Red Letter Grant, you cannot re-apply for the same business, but you may apply for a new start-up. RLG does not fund non-profit organizations.
Red Letter Grant is a Certified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization. Red Letter Grant is governed by a Board of Directors made up of women entrepreneurs and community leaders throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Eligible counties include Buffalo, Clark, Chippewa, Dunn, Eau Claire, Jackson, Pepin, Pierce, St. Croix, and Trempealeau.
