DESCRIPTIONS:

In the second session of this two-part series, we will discuss how we can use the information from Part 1 to provide equitable services to the children and families we serve. We will look at how we can start, and continue, making individual, community, and/or systemic changes within early intervention.

Barbara Grant Boneta, MA

Barbara Grant Boneta has been working in early intervention for over ten years, and works as an educational consultant, graduate professor, and full time mama. She has a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Teaching Students with Visual Impairments, and is passionate about infant mental health, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and creating strong leaders. Barbara is a Latinx mama who lives in Austin, TX with her partner, dog, and very adorable toddler.

Leah Davidson, MMFT

Leah Davidson is a career early childhood professional who is committed to working on behalf of families with very young children in order to maximize joy, growth, and human potential while the brain is most malleable. Leah earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Colorado State University in 2008 and shortly thereafter, began her career in Early Intervention in the state of Virginia. She worked as a Service Coordinator and then a Local System Manager in Arlington, Virginia for ten years before relocating to New Mexico, where she now serves as the Acting Bureau Chief for New Mexico’s statewide Early Intervention system. Leah is the proud mother of one ten-year-old girl and spends her free time singing, hiking, baking and socializing with her friends and family.

Registration slots for our ToTs frequently fill quickly HOWEVER far fewer people join the actual webinar. We'd like to request that you register only if you plan to attend so that all who are interested are able to login. Additionally, if you participate as a group, each individual does not need to register. One person can register for the group and can then share the access to the survey allowing each individual to obtain a certificate of participation. As a reminder, all ToTs are archived for your ease of access at times convenient to you. Thank you in advance for helping.
