In this second installation of the series, we will discuss case studies and videos of girls with ASD, with a focus on how to help families recognize characteristics in girls with ASD, optimal service delivery in EI, and how parents can best advocate for their child’s diagnosis.

FACILITATED BY:

Dr. Subarna Dharia is a pediatrician with a special interest in development and behavior of young children, especially early diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has worked in private practice for several years before providing support to Fairfax County's Early Intervention program for the past 13 years. She enjoys teaching students, pediatric residents, and parents the benefits of applying current research into practice and values collaboration with her colleagues and community partners for optimal outcomes!
