The 2024 Fall Tax Symposium, hosted annually by the Vermont Department of Taxes, is scheduled for October 22, 2024, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm EST at 111 State Street, Conference Room 110, Montpelier.

Presentations by Tax Commissioner Craig Bolio, Directors, and key members of the Tax Department team will offer information about the Department's implementation of legislative changes, form changes that will affect the upcoming tax season, and other timely topics. Although the Agenda may change, we thought we'd share a sneak peek of what you might expect.

Draft Agenda

The Symposium is geared toward tax professionals. In-person attendance is limited to 200 attendees. There is no limit to the number of remote attendees.

The Department is pleased to offer National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to in-person attendees. Remote attendees are not eligible to receive CPE credits.

There is no fee to attend the Fall Tax Symposium.

A buffet lunch in the State House Cafe is available for $14.00 and will include a hot meal, beverage, and a sweet snack. We hope you'll join us there for networking with Department personnel and your colleagues in the tax professional world.
