September 17, 2020

Dear Friends,

Gratitude. That’s what we feel most at this moment for our wonderful PRNSA community. Thank you for standing by us and helping us navigate through 2020’s turbulent (and fiery!) waters. We knew, back in March, that things might be different this year, but we never expected the compounded challenges this year continues to bring.
We Can Do Virtually Anything
Preparations for our first-ever live stream Dinner on the Pacific Plate are underway and we look forward to bringing our community together. One thing we've learned for certain is we can do virtually anything!

Whether you are a longtime event sponsor, volunteer, or joining us for the first time, this new format allows us to open the event to everyone this year...truly a "big tent" event. TICKETS ARE FREE this year!

Gather your friends and family, pick out your trail chic outfit and reserve your free tickets today for the “Park In Place” version of our beloved Dinner on the Pacific Plate. Our live stream event will begin at 6 pm on the eve of Saturday, October 10. Please save the date and register today!
Fire & Fun & Forward into Fall
While the fire and COVID-19 make it impossible to gather at Bear Valley this year, we will bring the park to your home. You can look forward to stories from folks who are on the fire's front line and the lesser-known heroes working behind the scenes planning for what’s next for the park and PRNSA. Of course, let's not forget it's a party too, so there will be music and some fun surprises. Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we share the details.
As we shift, yet again, we see that the power of community and the need for social connection is stronger than ever. You give us hope and inspire us. Thank you for your sustained support and for joining us as we celebrate like it's 2020. From the ashes of the fire come the seeds and shoots of what's next.

With appreciation,

PS: We are 80% to our fundraising goal for our event, so please consider sponsoring or making a donation now or at the event. Together, we will be ready for what's next!
