Dr. Bacon is Medical Director of San Francisco City Clinic, the STI and sexual health clinic run by San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH). He is also an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine in the UCSF Division of HIV, Infectious Diseases, and Global Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital. From 2015 to 2017 he led the RAPID initiative (immediate ART initiation for all persons newly diagnosed with HIV infection in San Francisco) for the Getting to Zero initiative. He trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. His areas of interest include diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, biomedical STI and HIV prevention, antiretroviral therapy, and early treatment of HIV infection. 

Dr. Chevalier is a double board-certified internist and infectious disease doctor. He completed his residency at Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt School of Medicine and his fellowship at UCSF. He holds a master’s in public health from the University of California, Berkeley. Franco works for the San Francisco Department of Public Health and currently serves as the deputy medical director for San Francisco City Clinic. He is also an HIV primary care provider at Ward 86 and has a particular interest in the implementation science behind HIV/STD prevention.

Dr. Cohen is the Director of the HIV/STI Prevention Section in SFDPH’s Disease Prevention and Control Branch. She is an assistant professor at UCSF in the division of infectious diseases and an HIV primary care provider. She has helped lead multiple research studies on biomedical HIV and STI prevention, including the DoxyPEP study.
