Meet Our Expert:

Stephanie Cohen, MD, MPH

Dr. Cohen is the STD Controller for San Francisco and the Medical Director of San Francisco City Clinic. She is an Assistant Professor at UCSF in the Division of Infectious Diseases and an HIV primary care provider. Her research focuses on using implementation science to guide the translation of STI and HIV prevention research into clinical and public health practice. She is currently site PI for a randomized controlled study of doxycycline PEP to prevent STIs. She is a passionate advocate for PrEP and loves to talk about syphilis.
