This program will cover the fundamentals of litigating a family offense case in family court. Topics to be covered include client-centered representation, jurisdiction, motion practice, defenses, trial practice, expedited hearings, and cross-practice issues, including immigration and criminal matters.
This training will primarily focus on representing respondents,
but petitioner representation will be touched on.
