Join your colleagues on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, as Prime Time features an impactful Emmy-nominated documentary film, titled “Wade in Water: Drowning in Racism,” that will enlighten viewers of the obstacles that separated Black people from a historical connection to water. A result of public policies and private actions that, by design, aimed to segregate bodies of water by race, Black people missed experiencing the most desirable outdoor spaces. Many of these policies and practices remain in effect today.

Prime Time Palm Beach County Offers Virtual One-on-One College and Career Advising

Are you interested in or already pursuing the youth development pathways at Palm Beach State College and utilizing Prime Time scholarships? Prime Time Palm Beach County offers one-on-one support in getting you jump started or registered for the upcoming semester. Join a virtual session and get all the one-on-one help you need from Prime Time’s career advisor who will assist with admissions applications, choosing classes, registering with the new workday system, filling out the scholarship application, sending transcripts and more.
The session dates are listed below and will be open all day so that you can attend during a time that is convenient for you. Simply use the button to the right to request a time slot that works best for you.

Advanced Youth Engagement Series Part 1

In this training, youth engagement comes to life in a practical way. This training series offers advanced level hands-on facilitation practice, where you will learn activities that raise the level of engagement for the youth in your program.

Financial incentives for practitioners actively participating in the Palm Beach County Quality Improvement System are available through the Prime Time ACHIEVE Out-of-School Time (OST) incentive award program. Supplements range from $50 to $3,000 depending on the training and education obtained.
